Location: Columbia Art Center, 215 Cascade Ave, Hood River.
From the earliest canoes and rafts, to the advent of the railways and
sternwheelers, to current recreational and commercial craft, the Columbia Gorge
has for centuries been an important transportation corridor through the Cascade
Mountains.
This show celebrates transportation in all of its forms through ART! Please
help us celebrate cars, planes, boats and automobiles in the art of
ten artists.

Pacific Northwest Plein Air painting competition
Location: Hood River, Oregon
This will be the 5th annual Pacific Northwest Plein Air painting competition,
where artists paint outside for five days, and display their works for
the public at the end of the week. The show is a juried
show, open to artists anywhere in the country.

"Art in the Heart"
Location: Art on the Boulevard
"Art
in the Heart" outdoor art event and sale for First Friday. This year's
event proves to be even bigger and better than last year's. We'll have
artists who are working in all different media and styles set up
outside along the sidewalk (and a few inside the courtyard).
